Patrice Oneal Dead At The Age Of 41: Comedian Patrice O’Neal died Tuesday at age 41 after a stroke last month, his agent said.”It is with terrible sadness we must announce that Patrice O’Neal died this morning because of complications of a stroke he suffered on October 19″ Matt O’Neill agent Frost said in a statement.

“Many of us have lost loved ones another, we all lost a true comic genius,” said Frost.O’Neal, who has appeared on Comedy Central roast celebrities and Conan O’Brien and David Letterman’s late night television, has also been a frequent guest on the “Opie and Anthony” radio show on Sirius XM.

“Yes, it is true that our friend Patrice O’Neal left. Funny and the best thinker I know. PERIOD”, Sirius XM host said in Twitter.”Opie and Anthony” show also broke the news last month that the stand-up comic, who was a diabetic, suffered a stroke last month.

Frost said O’Neal’s mother, Georgia was on his side when he died. O’Neill is survived by his wife, Vondecarlo, stepdaughter and sister Aymilyon Zinder.”The family would like to thank all the fans and friends who expressed their outpouring of love and support Patrice these last few weeks. We ask that you please respect the request of the family’s privacy at this difficult time,” the statement said.

O’Neal took part along with other celebrities in Comedy Central’s roast actor Charlie Sheen in September.He also appeared in Comedy Central special “elephant in the room” and had guest roles in television shows including “The Office” and “Arrested Development”.
